Call Charlie collects information you provide directly and information generated through your use of the directory:
- Contractor profiles: Business name, license number, trade, city, and contact information you submit when claiming a profile.
- Public records: License data from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR), which is public information under Florida Statutes § 119.01.
- Usage data: Pages visited, search queries, device type, browser, and IP address collected via Google Analytics.
- Account data: Email address and payment information if you subscribe to a paid plan.
How I Use Your Information
- Display contractor profiles in the directory
- Verify license status against DBPR records
- Calculate Public Record Scores (P.R.S.)
- Process payments for paid subscriptions
- Improve the directory and user experience
- Send service-related communications (not marketing)
Public Record Data
Contractor license information displayed on Call Charlie is sourced from publicly available DBPR records pursuant to the Florida Sunshine Law (FL Statutes § 119.01). This data is public by law and is not subject to removal requests. If you believe your license information is inaccurate, contact DBPR directly at myfloridalicense.com.
Google Services
Call Charlie uses Google Analytics, Google Maps Platform, and Firebase. These services may collect usage data subject to Google's Privacy Policy. I use this data solely to operate and improve the directory.
Cookies
Call Charlie uses essential cookies for site functionality and analytics cookies via Google Analytics. No advertising cookies are used. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work properly.
Data Sharing
I do not sell your personal information. Data may be shared with:
- Google: Analytics and hosting services
- Stripe: Payment processing for subscriptions
- Law enforcement: When required by law or valid legal process
Data Security
Data is stored on Google Cloud (Firebase) with encryption at rest and in transit. Access is restricted to essential personnel only. No system is 100% secure — I take reasonable measures to protect your information but cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting me. Note that public record data (DBPR license information) cannot be removed as it is public by law.

Call Charlie is not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect information from children.

I may update this policy as the business evolves. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use of Call Charlie after changes constitutes acceptance.
